What’s the difference between your wood options?

All our cabinets and frames are made of hardwoods such as oak, ash, elm and sycamore. The difference is entirely aesthetic. We’ll consult with you to select a wood/finish/colour that matches your home and budget.

Why is your lighting special?

All our cabinets and frames are lit with non-heat emitting LEDs, meaning your valuable collectibles will not be affected by warping or heat distortion.

Climate control in storage is crucial for preserving the material integrity of your collection. No collectible item is immune to damage from heat or moisture – our cabinets aim to provide the most optimal conditions for their long-term preservation.

Can my cabinet be collapsed for storage/transport reasons?

Once installed, cabinets cannot be collapsed.

How much will my item cost?

All our cabinets and frames are made to order, so pricing depends entirely on your needs. After consulting you, we will work quickly to provide a complete, fixed quote on the full project cost.

Can I display/store non-graded trading cards?

Yes! We will design each product to meet your needs. However, we strongly recommend keeping trading cards in sleeves and rigid cases.

What’s special about your glass?

All our cabinets and frames use low-iron, laminated safety glass. This is the same type of glass used in institutions such as the British Museum and the National Gallery. The glass blocks 99% of UV rays, is scratch resistant, and has an anti-reflective coating to prevent glare. Our glass is five times more durable than standard glass of the same thickness.

What security options are there and which is right for me?

All our cabinets and frames can be fitted with their standard key locks, magnetic-fob locks, keypad locks, or no locks at all! While we can offer increased security and protection, our cabinets are categorically not safes, and no level of security is unbreachable.

What maintenance will my cabinet require?

Our furniture is designed to be as low maintenance as possible. All our cabinets and frames can be cleaned safely with a damp, lint-free cloth and standard wood-polish. We recommend keeping cabinets and frames at a reasonable distance from direct heat sources, and out of direct sunlight.

Our cabinets are climate controlled using silica tapes, which will require replacing at intervals of between two and five years, depending on the climate of your home.
